2019 Oklahoma Ad Club Awards Intro Video

A colleague and I worked together to co-concept, co-design and co-artdirect this video that opened the Oklahoma Addys in 2019. We took a completed script and split it up into segments and designed our sections apart from each other without seeing what the other person was doing. We then brought them back and as we saw what was created we tweaked to make the transitions work.

The meaning behind the design was to illustrate the theme for the show, which was Re:vision. It was the idea that when you are a designer you get many revisions from various stakeholders, which the different segments represented, and then from there you would have to re-vision your idea to make it work, which is where tweaking the transitions came in. 

This video won Best in Show the following the year at the Oklahoma ADDYs, a Gold in the District ADDYs, and then a Silver at Nationals.
